Another MagPod prototype spotted

MagPod is on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/MagPod and has received pretty much great reviews since it was first announced (minus the haters of course). We’ll give you a thorough after action report on the newest incarnation, but so far we’re loving it. We talked to Shane Keng, the MagPod’s designer. He told us the MagPod’s evolution is continuing because he’s not entirely happy with a couple of things and he wants it right before going into mass production. For instance, he’s altering the base slightly to provide some “give”. There won’t be a lot of compression or flexibility, but there will be enough to prevent any negative pushback from a hard surface. He’s also changing the physical specs so it will fit more easily in some modular magazine pouches.
